What is Electron Beam Irradiation?

• E-beam irradiation process utilizes high energy electrons.
  The electrons, which are produced by normal electrical current, are accelerated to near the speed of light by the accelerator. The resulting energies,10 million electron volts (MeV) has sufficient energy to penetrate a range of products.
• The irradiation process usually takes only few seconds and conducted at the place behind a thick concrete wall, which prevents radiation from leaving the cell.
